Roasted BBQ Chicken

The Ingredients

Air Chilled Chicken Breast
Bourbon BBQ Sauce
Garlic Salt
Coarse Black Pepper
Dill Weed
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

The Recipe

This recipe is one of my staples.

Though I love a recipe that requires extensive preparation, and enjoyable evening at home doesn’t have to be time consuming or expensive. I love this recipe because in addition to cost effective and easy to prepare, it’s also delicious.

Preheat the oven to 425.

Place the chicken breast on a pan brushed with extra virgin olive oil.

Sprinkle a generous helping of garlic salt and coarse black pepper. Bush the top side of each breast with bourbon BBQ sauce. Sprinkle again with a small amount of garlic salt, coarse black pepper, and dill weed. The dill weed will combine with the BBQ sauce for a great BBQ flavor.

Place in the oven and roast for about 25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 168 degrees.

Plate with a drizzle of BBQ sauce, pair with a vegetable side, and serve.
